Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Nudgie. This is a working draft written alongside the app, not reviewed legal advice; have a lawyer read it before you rely on it.

Your account

You need a valid email address to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox, because it is how sign-in codes reach you. One account belongs to one person.

Spaces

A space is a couple or a family. Every space has one owner, who can invite, remove members, hand ownership to someone else, or delete the space. Anyone can leave a space at any time. Leaving or being removed ends your access; it does not delete anything for the people who stay. Deleting a space removes it for everyone in it and cannot be undone.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Nudgie to harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone, including the people in your spaces.
• Do not use it to send content that is illegal where any recipient lives.
• Do not attempt to reach another space’s data, or to disrupt the service for others.

You can report a nudge or a person from inside the app, and you can block someone. Blocking removes you from each other’s spaces and prevents you from joining one together again. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

Alarms and delivery are best effort

Scheduled nudges and ring-through delivery depend on Apple’s and Google’s notification systems, your device settings, and your network. Nudgie is not a medical, safety, or emergency service. Do not rely on it for anything where a missed or late alert causes harm.

Paid subscriptions

Premium is a subscription on your account, bought through the App Store or Google Play, and it lets you start families and back them with more members. Billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by whichever store you bought through, under that store’s rules. If a subscription ends, is refunded, or a family you backed is handed to someone else, that family keeps its features for seven days; after that it goes back to the free limits until someone backs it again. Nobody is removed from a space by the system.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app; the account deletion page explains how. We may end an account that breaks the acceptable use rules above.

Service as-is

Nudgie is provided as-is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY], [POSTAL ADDRESS].

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the courts of [VENUE].
