Deleting your account

You can delete your Nudgie account and its data at any time. This page exists because Google Play requires a web-reachable way to request it; the fastest route is still inside the app.

From the app

Open Nudgie, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately and does not need our involvement.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to donald.murillo07@gmail.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the address before acting, and we will confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account record: email, display name, avatar, public key, status and quiet hours.
• Every nudge you sent or received, including its encrypted contents.
• Your push notification tokens, delivery rules and schedules.
• Your sign-in sessions and authentication records.
• Your half of the pair. The pair itself is removed and your partner is unlinked.

What is not

Moderation reports are kept after the account they concern is deleted, so a pattern of abuse does not disappear when someone deletes and re-registers. Backups are kept for a limited period and then rotate out.

Set the backup retention period on this page before submitting to the stores. Edit it in the admin panel.
